Respite Care Services

This service is short-term support that gives you and your family, or other primary caregiver,a break from daily routines. It is a one-to-one service.Respite is provided in: your home; a respite care provider’s home; a licensed residential site; state certified overnight or youth camps; or other places and camps approved by the DDA.

  • This does not include fees related to respite like membership fees at a recreational facility, community activities or insurance.
  • Who can get this service?This service is for people who:Live in their own home or in their family home. Do not receive Community Living-Group Home, Community Living-Enhanced Supports or Shared Living services.Have documented in their PCP the need for this service and discussed other requirements with their CSS
